What method do you use for cleaning?

We use the circular dry foam method of carpet cleaning. Unlike most processes, we don't shoot hot water into your carpet, but lift out the dirt with our foam. Our products are hypoallergenic and our shampoo is Aerus/Electrolux turbo shampoo. Our process is recommended by most carpet and furniture manufacturers. We vacuum before we shampoo and pretreat stains. Our shampoo contains a deodorizer, disinfectant and fabric protector. The only thing we charge extra is for pet treatment.

Do I need to vacuum before the crew arrives?

No. Vacuuming is a part of our service.

How do you charge?

We charge by the square foot for carpet, area rugs and hardwood floors and by the size of the piece for leather and upholstered furniture.

How long will it take to clean my carpets?

It depends on the total square footage or the pieces of furniture we are cleaning. Once we arrive, we measure, give you the final cost and an estimate of the time it will take. As a point of reference, about 400 square feet may take an hour.

Do you move furniture?

We move most furniture such as couches, tables and chairs. We ask you what you want moved and proceed from there. We only move china cabinets, entertainment centers and bookcases if you remove the contents beforehand. We ask that you don't put anything on beds or couches if we are going to move them.

How long will it take for my carpet to dry?

With our process, your carpet should be dry in about one to two hours. If you have a lot of stains, it may take longer, but not much. Before it is dry, you can always walk on it with socks or house shoes but you need to be careful because it may be slippery. If you can stay off it for an hour, that would be best.

I have heard that cleaning my carpet makes it soil faster. Is this true?

Somewhat. Many companies use harsh chemicals which are not totally removed from your carpet, so the chemicals may actually attract dirt. Our process coats your fibers and actually helps repel dirt. After we clean your carpet, every time you vacuum is like self cleaning.

Do you guarantee removal of all spots or stains in the carpet?

No one can guarantee that all stains will be removed. Time is the most important thing with stains. It is like your relatives. The longer you allow them to stay, the harder it is to get them out. We pretreat all stains by hand. It is good to know what kind of stains you have as we use different stain removers for different stains. We also give you tips on what to use in the future.

Will carpet cleaning get rid of fleas in my carpet?

No. You would have to first consult your vet or an exterminator on what to use to get rid of them. Once that is done, we can come in and disinfect the carpet.
Top

Will your cleaning cause my carpet to bubble or ripple?

No. Because we don't shoot hot water into your carpet and then extract it, there is no pulling of the carpet. Also, our process doesn't get into the padding. If you have dirt in your padding, you should be arrested for carpet abuse. Regular maintenance of your carpet prevents that from happening. Tip: vacuum, vacuum, vacuum. Did I mention you should vacuum?

How do you guarantee customer satisfaction?

We try our hardest on every job to make your carpet look its best. However, if we have to come back to retreat a stain or go over an area more thoroughly, just give us a call. We live on satisfying our clients.

What is the best carpet cleaning method?

Circular Dry Foam is by far the best method to cleaning your carpet. Get more details from Robert Byrne's Consumer Report here.

What type of chemicals do you use?

Our shampoo is about as innocuous as you can get. I even drank it by mistake and I am still here. Seriously, on the Material Safety Data Sheet it rates as low as you can get for a substance.

How do you remove pet urine odor from carpets?

We have a special enzyme eating solution we use that removes the odor and we also treat the stain. We can also give you tips on what to do in the future.

Why do I/do I need protectant on my carpets?

Yes and our shampoo contains silica, which is a natural protector. It coats your carpet fibers so dirt and stains don't stick to them as readily. Protector is just that. It gives you a few extra minutes to remove the stain before it adheres to the fibers.

How do I prepare for your arrival?

Remove items from the floor, such as clothing, books, toys and other items. If you want your closets cleaned, remove all items from the floor. If you want china cabinets, entertainment centers and bookcases moved, please remove the contents. We also need access to water like a kitchen or bathroom sink.

How do I make an appointment?

Just tell us what day is best for you and we will see if we are available. Use the form, call, text or email us. We give you a two hour window for our arrival. We try to arrive as close to the beginning of the two hour window as possible, but we keep you updated on our progress. We can sometimes do same day requests, but try to give us as much lead time as possible. Usually a week in advance is enough to get the appointment you want.
